Email Account Setup


Configure your favourite email program (eg, Outlook Express) using the following settings:
Incoming mail server (POP3): mail.yourdomain.name
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): Details from your ISP

To upload your website follow these instructions:

FTP into the host using your favourite FTP program with the below details. We suggest this link: http://www.leapware.com/

FTP hostname: www.yourdomain.name
Login with your admin username and password.

When you initially login, you may arrive in the following directory:
/users/adminusername/
Move up 2 levels until you see the four directories listed together below (in any order):
/certs
/logs
/users
/web

Open the /web folder. This is the location of the homepage for your website and any files linked to it.
This folder is live to the Internet so any changes you make will be seen by the Internet community.

Microsoft Outlook 2007 POP3 email account setup

Outlook 2007 POP setup


Step 1:Open outlook 2007 and go to Tools -> Account Settings






Step 2: Make sure you are on the E-mail tab and click "New"





Step 3: Select "Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP" and click Next.





Step 4: On the following page, do not enter any information. Check "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" and click Next.





Step 5: Select "Internet E-mail" and click Next.





Step 6: Enter the following information. Your Name — This is where you enter your name as you want it to appear
when people receive emails from you.
E-mail Address: Enter your full email address
Account type: Select "POP.
Incoming mail server: mail. (ex: mail.abc.com.au)
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): Please use ISPs smtp server (ex: mail.bigpond.com, mail.optusenet.com.au, etc..)
User Name — Depending on your email provider, this could be your full email address (frequent), or the email user name
(part of your email address that comes before the "@" symbol). Please contact dolphin-it support team if you are not sure.
Password:
Check “remember password” check box.





Step 7: Click next Finish

Step 1: From the "Tools" menu, select "Email Accounts"





Step 2: Select "Add a new email account", and click "Next" .






Step 3: Select "POP3", and click "Next"






Step 4: All text boxes on this screen must be completed.
Your Name — This is where you enter your name as you want it to appear when people receive emails from you.
E-mail Address: Enter your full email address
Incoming mail server (POP3): mail. (ex: mail.abc.com.au)
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): Please use ISPs smtp server (ex: mail.bigpond.com, mail.optusenet.com.au, etc..)
